SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These terms and conditions (T&C) apply to all services provided by Rare Pilates, a trademark of Rare Pilates Gmbh. These T&C become legally binding upon the conclusion of any service or sales contract (e.g., by booking classes). Rare Pilates may update these T&C at any time, with the version valid at the time of contract conclusion governing the agreement.
PRICES/OFFERS/VALIDITY
All prices and class packages are listed on our website, rarepilates.com. Prices are subject to change, and Rare Pilates reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice. The prices published online at the time of purchase are final.
The validity of class packages varies and is detailed online. Generally, extensions are not granted, except at the discretion of Rare Pilates in cases of health issues, pregnancy, or other unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us at info@rareplilates.com to discuss potential accommodations. The Intro Offer is valid only once per new customer. All transactions are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable. Prices listed online or in the studio are in CHF and include VAT.
BOOKINGS & CANCELLATION POLICY
All group classes must be booked through Mindbody/Rare Pilates app, where the most current schedule is available. A valid subscription is required for booking. All group classes must be prepaid; in-studio payments before class are not accepted. You are only eligible to attend the group class once your booking is confirmed through Mindbody/Rare Pilates app.
Private classes can be booked through the studio, your coach, or via email or mobile. Your coach will schedule your session in the Rare Pilates system, and you will receive a booking confirmation via email. Payment can be made in the studio before the session. We accept credit cards (excluding Amex), debit cards, and Twint.
Class availability is limited, so we recommend booking early. If a group class has fewer than three participants, Rare Pilates reserves the right to cancel it. Attendees will be notified and refunded. Cancellations for group classes must be made through Mindbody/ Rare Pilates app. For privates, please contact your coach directly or email info@rarepilates.com. Group classes have a 10-hour cancellation policy, while privates require 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur the full charge (or a deduction from your class pack).
Waitlist for Group Classes: If a class is fully booked, you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available within the cancellation window, you will be automatically added to the class and notified via email. Ensure you have not unsubscribed from notifications, as this is how you will be informed. If a spot opens less than 10 hours before class, you will need to book manually.
LATE ARRIVAL
Group Classes: Entry is not permitted after the first 10 minutes for safety reasons. First-Time Visitors: If you arrive late, you will not be permitted to join the class. Please contact us at info@rarepilates.com to reschedule.
Private Classes: Late arrivals will result in a shorter session, as the original end time will be maintained.
HEALTH
By booking a class or using our services, you confirm that you are physically able to participate. You must inform Rare Pilates of any injuries, health conditions, pregnancy, or postpartum status (with doctor’s clearance) before booking. Rare Pilates reserves the right to refuse attendance if your health could be compromised. You agree not to attend classes if you have an infectious disease (e.g., COVID-19). If you experience symptoms, do not visit the studio and inform Rare Pilates if you have recently attended a class.
CLOTHING IN CLASSES
Please wear comfortable workout clothing: a comfortable top, and no shoes are required, as we work out with non-slip socks.
GENERAL TERMS / LIABILITY
Use of our services and equipment is at your own risk. Rare Pilates is not liable for slight negligence, and third-party liability is excluded.
Rare Pilates reserves the right to cancel or change schedules, classes, workshops, studio facilities, and instructors without prior notice.
Responsibility for performance passes to you upon contract conclusion. If RARE Pilates is unable to perform due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., force majeure), it is released from its obligations, and payments are non-refundable.
You are liable for any damage caused to the studio or equipment. You agree to follow our coaches' instructions. Rare Pilates reserves the right to expel you from services or the studio for violating our T&C, principles, or for inappropriate behavior. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy informs you about the data collected, stored, and used by Rare Pilates when you use our services. Rare Pilates takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your information. When you fill out our contact form, sign up for our newsletter, book classes, or make payments, Rare Pilates collects and stores your personal data in compliance with Swiss and EU data protection laws. We only store the data you choose to provide. To personalize your experience, we may track your activity on our digital platforms. You can update or delete your personal data at any time by logging into your Mindbody/Rare Pilates app or emailing us at info@rarepilates.com. Rare Pilates authorizes Mindbody to manage schedules, client data, newsletters, class bookings, and payments. Mindbody's privacy policy can be found here:

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Unless otherwise stated, this website and its content are the property of RARE Pilates Gmbh and are legally protected. Unauthorized use is prohibited and will be prosecuted.
APPLICABLE LAW AND PLACE OF JURISDICTION
These T&C and the underlying agreements are governed by Swiss law, excluding the CISG. All disputes arising from these T&C or the underlying agreement shall be resolved by the competent courts of Zurich. 11.08.2024 For further information, please contact us at info@rarepilates.com.
